FEATURES The Port Environment and International Standardization

Currently ports are required to respond to International Codes which arose from the activation of discussions about the marine environment at international organizations such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO), in doing so the international standardization is progressing.
This article introduces the latest efforts to modify policies that have been taken, in reference to some concrete case samples.
