FEATURES 〜New phase of bulk cargo transportation to support our daily lives〜

 Our country is surrounded by ocean, and consequently 99.7% of international trade cargo are carried by vessels. And nearly 90% of waterborne cargo is bulk cargo and is carried by bulk carrier or bulker and tanker.
 The feature of this month introduces the transportation of dry bulk cargoes, such as resources, energy, and grain, which are particularly indispensable for our industries and our daily lives. The future also refers to its significance, the updates of both overseas and domestic infrastructure, those of transportation system, and what to do in order to seek for the right course of future Port development policy.
