〜 International container
strategy ports 〜 |
|
 |
As the globalization
of economy goes on, the worldwide ocean cargo volume has
been increasing year by year, particularly in Asia, coupled
with upsizing of container vessels. And some ports such
as Singapore, Shanghai and Busan in Asian rapid growing
area have been handling more and more. Under these circumstances,
international competitions among ports are getting tougher.
In such hard competitions, binding major trade services
of container lines to Japan is extremely hard and we are
not allowed to sit back and do nothing. In order to realize
"international container strategy ports", we need to center
on some selected ports and to level up their infrastructures to the world
standard.
The feature of this month intends to show you what we should
do from now on by introducing views from those involved
in the selection and introducing endeavors by organizations
concerned. |
