FEATURES 〜Japan keeping pace with other Asian countries' growth/Recent trend of industry and natural resource developments in Asia〜
 Considering that other Asian countries China in particular are growing economically,and promotion of industrial agglomeration and expansion of consumption market are going on and on,nobody denies that our country will face tougher international competition.
 We'll have to find out how we'll carry out continuous growth,without losing our presence in Asia and by cooperating with other countries.
 The Japanese manufacturing industry may be hollowing out more and more, and our job opportunities here in Japan may be losing more and more.Under these circumstances,we'd like to emphasize the necessity of the following strategies;
  • fostering our industries whose targets are growing Asian market
  • securing stable purchasing routes of inexpensive resources by strategic participation in development of resources in Asia
  • reinforcing global logistics functions which are tha basis of our country's international competitiveness
 Our topic of this month and next month is "Japan keeping pace with other Asian countries' growth".This month issue highlights progress of manufacturing in Asia and natural resource supply and demand situation,and the next month issue will highlight international and domestic logistics supporting them.We would like to have a view of Asian trend and our strategy to achieve constant growth.
