FEATURES DISASTER REDUCTION in harbor areas

Population and assets concentrate on harbor areas in Japan. However, much
concern is over the areas where earthquakes and typhoons tend to hit. So itユs an
urgent necessity for us to promote well-preparation, from both hardware and
software aspects, for possible large-scale disasters in the areas.
This feature is showing you a risk scenario on the assumption that an earthquake
would hit Tokyo and introducing you some recent examples of measures taken,
expecting that it will contribute to enlighten readers to have more sense of
disaster reduction.
